This BMW Engine Valve / Cylinder Head Cover, OEM 8631745, is a used genuine part removed from a donor vehicle. Also known as a valve cover, it seals the top of the cylinder head on B38 and B48 engines (1.5L turbo I3, 2.0L turbo I4, including PHEV and MHEV versions). Over time the integrated gasket can harden and leak oil onto the exhaust, causing burning smells or low oil warnings.
