This bracket secures the handle mechanism to the door panel on the B9-generation A4, A5, S4, S5, RS5, and related models. It is compatible with multiple engine configurations including the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder and the 2.9L or 3.0L V6. A failing bracket can cause the exterior handle to feel loose or not retract flush with the door.
