A used BMW floor pan heat shield, genuine OEM part number 7340214, is available for the front right side of the chassis. This heat shield protects the floor pan from exhaust system heat, preventing thermal damage to the cabin floor. Over time, a heat shield can become brittle or develop loose fasteners, resulting in a metallic rattle, especially at low speeds or over bumps.
