This is a used genuine OEM Audi/VW flywheel flexplate, part number 07C105323H, also known as a flex plate. It connects the engine's crankshaft to the torque converter, transmitting rotational force to the transmission. A worn or cracked flex plate can produce a metallic rattling noise from the bellhousing area, especially at idle, or cause hard shifting and vibration.
