The BMW Fuel Tank Breather Hose / Line, OEM 8665234, is a used genuine part from a donor vehicle. Also referred to as a breather hose or evaporative line, it manages fuel vapor pressure in the tank. Designed for BMW models with the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine (1998cc, including the mild-hybrid variant), a failing unit can trigger a check engine light or cause a raw fuel odor due to cracked rubber or blocked passages.
