This used OEM BMW headlight leveling sensor (part 6776549) monitors front suspension height to automatically adjust headlight aim for changing load conditions. Also called a ride-height or self-leveling sensor, it mounts at the front suspension and signals the headlight control module. When this sensor fails, you may notice headlights pointing too low or high, or the adaptive headlight warning on the dash. Pulled from a BMW X5 or X6, it fits models with 3.0L inline-6 or 4.4L V8 engines—gas, diesel, or hybrid.
