It powers the premium sound system in select 5, 6, and 7 Series G30/G31/G32 models, including the M5 and M550i xDrive, with engines ranging from the 2.0L turbo four to the 4.4L V8. When this amp fails, you may experience distorted audio, no sound from certain speakers, or a complete loss of system output.
