A used genuine Audi hood latch release cable, OEM part number 8T1823535, also known as the bonnet release cable. This part also replaces 8K1823535. When the cable stretches or snaps, the hood will not pop open from the driver's cabin release handle, requiring manual access to the latch mechanism. It fits a range of Audi A4, A5, S4, S5, and RS5 models with various gasoline engines, including 1.8L, 2.0L, 3.0L supercharged, 3.2L, and 4.2L V8 powerplants.
