This Audi hood latch release lever / handle (OEM 8E1823533B) is a genuine used part from a donor vehicle. The interior release lever connects to the cable that pops the hood; when it breaks or becomes brittle, the hood may not open from the driver's seat. Known as the hood latch release handle, it fits various A4, S4, and RS4 models with 1.8L turbo, 2.0T, 3.0L V6, 3.2L V6, and 4.2L V8 engines.
