Used OEM BMW hood seal/gasket, part number 7299132, from a donor BMW i3 or i3s. This front seal sits between the hood and body, preventing wind noise and keeping debris and moisture out of the engine bay. Over time the rubber can crack or lose its shape, causing air leaks or water intrusion. Fits both the 0.6L range-extender and pure battery-electric versions of the i3.
