A used genuine OEM Audi hood seal / weather stripping, part number 8J0823731B, is a rubber gasket that runs along the front edge of the engine bay. This seal keeps debris, moisture, and road dirt from entering the compartment while also reducing wind noise. When the original seal becomes brittle or compressed, it can allow water to reach sensitive components. This part was removed from a donor Audi TT, TT Quattro, TTS Quattro, or TT RS Quattro.
