This is a used OEM BMW HV / Hybrid Electric Motor Inverter Converter Connector, part number 9485004, 8740389, or 8679669. It serves as the high-voltage connection interface between the hybrid electric motor and the inverter/converter unit in plug-in hybrid powertrains. When this connector fails, it can disrupt power flow between the electric motor and the battery system, triggering drivetrain warning lights or preventing hybrid operation entirely. It was removed from a BMW 530e, 530e xDrive, 740Le xDrive, or 745e xDrive with either a 2.0L or 3.0L turbocharged PHEV engine.
