This is a used OEM Volkswagen HVAC Flap / Servo Air Motor / Actuator, part number 3D0959311, sourced from a donor vehicle. Also known as the servo air motor or actuator, this component controls the movement of air blend doors inside the heating and ventilation system. When it fails, common symptoms include clicking noises from the dashboard, incorrect temperature output, or air only coming from certain vents. This specific actuator was removed from a Volkswagen Phaeton equipped with either the 4.2L V8 or 6.0L W12 naturally aspirated engines.
