It serves Audi A4, A4 Quattro, RS4, and S4 models equipped with 1.8T, 2.0T, naturally aspirated 3.0L and 3.2L V6, or 4.2L V8 engines. The harness carries power from the ignition switch to the starter circuit. A failing unit can cause intermittent no-crank conditions or complete loss of ignition power.
