A used OEM BMW in-tank fuel pump, part number 6761963, removed from a donor X3. This pump also replaces OEM numbers 7159604 and 6766157. It was originally fitted to 2.5L and 3.0L naturally aspirated six-cylinder engines. When the fuel pump fails, common symptoms include a no-start condition, stalling while driving, or whining noises from the tank. The pump delivers fuel from the tank to the engine at the correct pressure for proper combustion.
