This used OEM BMW inner window slot seal, part number 7164987, is a genuine left-rear seal removed from a donor vehicle. Designed for the E82 and E88 chassis, it fits both the N54 3.0L turbocharged and N52 3.0L naturally aspirated six-cylinder engines. The seal prevents wind noise, water intrusion, and rattles along the rear window channel. Over time, original seals can dry out or compress, allowing drafts or leaks. Installing a properly fitting OEM replacement restores the factory seal and quiet cabin.
