BMW interior door handle release cable, OEM part number 7225004, is a genuine used Bowden cable from a donor vehicle. This cable connects the interior handle to the door latch mechanism, and when it fails, the door handle feels loose or won't open from inside. Fits left or right side on BMW 640i, 640i xDrive, 650i, 650i xDrive, and M6 models with 3.0L turbocharged inline-six or 4.4L twin-turbo V8 engines.
