BMW knock / ping sensor, OEM part number 7577034. This used genuine sensor detects engine detonation (knock) by monitoring cylinder vibration, signaling the ECU to adjust ignition timing. A failing sensor can cause poor acceleration, reduced fuel economy, or a check-engine light. Fits N63 4.4L V8 and S63 4.4L V8 turbocharged engines from BMW 550i, M5, X5, X6, and Alpina B7 applications.
