This right-side module monitors blind spots and alerts the driver when a vehicle is detected in the adjacent lane. It is specific to the 2.0L and 3.0L turbocharged and supercharged engines found in the B9 platform. A failure symptom is the side mirror warning light staying on or not illuminating at all.
