An Audi genuine OEM license plate light, part 8W6943021A, is a used direct replacement for the rear lighting assembly. This component also supersedes part 8W6943021. It mounts on the left or right side of the rear bumper and provides illumination for the license plate. When the LEDs fail, the plate becomes unreadable at night, often showing a dim or flickering light.
