The Land Rover Liftgate / Trunk Lid Smart Opener Motion Sensor (lower), OEM part number GK6214E110AA (also replaces LR070879), is a genuine used component removed from a donor vehicle. This sensor detects foot motion under the rear bumper to trigger automatic liftgate opening. When it fails, the kick-to-open feature becomes unresponsive, requiring manual operation or a replacement. Mounted on the left or right rear lower trim, it works with the 3.0L V6 diesel and gasoline engines found in Discovery and Range Rover Velar models.
