The genuine Audi lower low pressure AC hose / line / pipe, OEM 4D0260707G (also replaces 4D0260707D), is used in 3.7L and 4.2L V8 naturally aspirated engines found in the A8, A8 Quattro, and S8. This hose carries refrigerant from the evaporator to the compressor; a cracked or leaking line can cause weak or no cooling. Professional inspection of the entire AC system is recommended before installation.

This hose goes from the dryer to the compressor.
