A used genuine OEM BMW Mass Air Flow Sensor Hose (OEM 7514874) — also known as the intake tube — was removed from a Z4 with the 3.0L naturally aspirated six-cylinder. This hose connects the MAF sensor to the throttle body, channeling metered air into the engine. Over time, the rubber can crack or the hose can develop vacuum leaks, causing unmetered air, rough idle, hesitation, or a check engine light. This is the original BMW part, not an aftermarket replica.
