This tray houses the near-field communication module, often used for key recognition or wireless device pairing. It also replaces 8734774 and 61355A0D8A8. Programming is required: the module must be coded to your vehicle’s VIN by a qualified shop or dealer. Fits many BMW models equipped with turbocharged 2.0L, 3.0L, or 4.4L engines. When the NFC tray fails, you may experience intermittent key detection or a dashboard communication error.
