Offered here is a used OEM Audi piston and connecting rod assembly, part number 077107099F. This genuine component also replaces OEM 077107099D and 077107099A. Designed for the left bank of the 4.2L V8 (4163cc or 4172cc DOHC naturally aspirated) engine in Audi A6, A8, and S6 Quattro models, it transfers combustion force to the crankshaft. A worn connecting rod bearing often causes a distinct knocking sound under load.
