This right-side piston and connecting rod assembly comes from a 3.0L V6 donor vehicle and is suitable for both diesel and gasoline (including supercharged, turbocharged, hybrid) versions. The part converts combustion pressure into rotational force; a failing piston or rod often produces a knocking sound or causes low compression in one cylinder.
