It’s a protective plastic cap that fits over the positive battery terminal on many BMW models equipped with 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 or 3.0L turbocharged inline-6 engines, including mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants. The cover prevents accidental short circuits and corrosion by shielding the exposed terminal.
