A used OEM BMW Power Brake Booster, part number 6872135, also replaces 6872637. This unit provides the vacuum assist that multiplies pedal force for braking. A failing booster often causes a hard, unresponsive brake pedal or a hissing air leak. It was removed from a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, either gas or diesel, in a 2010s-era BMW 3 Series or 4 Series donor vehicle.
