This BMW power steering hose, OEM 6786795 (also replaces 6779929), is a used genuine original part. Available for X5 and X6 models with the 3.0L inline-6 (both naturally aspirated and turbocharged) and the 4.4L V8 turbo. Also called power steering line or pipe, it carries hydraulic fluid from the pump to the steering rack. A failing hose may develop cracks or leaks, leading to low fluid, stiff steering, and pump noise.
