Used OEM BMW power steering rack / gear, part number 7853993, removed from a donor vehicle. This steering gear also replaces earlier OEM numbers including 3444368, 3428164, and 3413589. It was originally fitted to the BMW X3 with the 2.5L or 3.0L naturally aspirated inline-six engines. A failing rack often shows as a leaking power steering fluid, uneven steering effort, or a clunking noise when turning.
