This used OEM BMW Radiator Electric Cooling Fan Housing (part number 7640511) also replaces 8641964, 8621192, and 7600559. It is the complete housing assembly for the electric cooling fan, which draws air through the radiator to prevent overheating. When this fan housing fails, you may notice the engine running hotter than normal or the cooling fan not engaging at all, especially during idle or stop-and-go traffic. It fits BMW 2.0L and 3.0L turbocharged engines from the 228i, 328i, and M235i models.
