It's the wiring harness connector that links the radio and climate control temp unit to the vehicle's electrical system; when this pigtail fails, you may lose radio function or climate control display. It fits G20/G30/G32 5-Series and 6-Series Gran Turismo models with engines including the B58 3.0L turbo, N63 4.4L V8, and B47D 3.0L diesel.
