Used OEM Audi rain channel cowl cover, part number 8J1819979B. This is the genuine plastic cowl panel that sits at the base of the windshield, directing water away from the cabin air intake and engine bay. It also replaces earlier versions 8J1819979A and 8J1819979. Over time, the original cover can become brittle or crack from sun exposure, leading to water leaks into the fresh air intake or allowing debris to fall into the blower motor.
