This BMW rear tilt / height seat motor (OEM 7309658) is a used genuine part, pulled from a donor vehicle. Also known as a rear tilt motor or height seat motor, it powers the front right seat’s tilt and height adjustments. When this motor fails, the seat may stop moving in one or both directions, often with a clicking sound. Removed from a variety of BMW models with turbocharged 2.0L I4, 3.0L I6, and 4.4L V8 engines. A failed motor means the seat won’t adjust to your desired driving position.
