This is a used OEM BMW rear tilt/height seat motor, OEM part number 7075943, also known to replace 0309480 and 7056445. It controls the forward-backward tilt and height adjustment for the front left seat. When this motor fails, the seat may stop moving in one direction or become stuck entirely, often accompanied by a whirring noise with no movement.
