It controls refrigerant flow in the A/C system, directing freon to maintain proper cooling. When this valve fails, common symptoms include no cold air, erratic compressor cycling, or a complete lack of system response. It fits EuroVan models with the 2.4L or 2.5L inline-5 diesel or gas engines, plus 2.8L VR6 gas engines.
