Genuine Volkswagen Roof Rail (right side) – OEM part number 5G9860044D – a factory-used piece removed from a donor vehicle. This roof rail is for the right-hand side and fits VW Golf, Golf Alltrack, and Golf SportWagen models equipped with either gasoline or diesel four-cylinder engines. The rail mounts along the roof edge to support crossbars or cargo carriers; over time, UV exposure and weather can cause the black trim to fade or the adhesive to weaken, making a like-new replacement necessary.
