This BMW seat backrest lock / latch (OEM 7118820, also replaces 52207118820) is a genuine used part for the rear right side. It secures the folding seat back in the upright position; a worn latch can cause the backrest to rattle or fail to lock properly. Found in several BMW models with 2.0L diesel or gas and 3.0L gas engines, including turbo and naturally aspirated variants.
