Used BMW seat backrest release cover cap, OEM part number 6977460, also replaces 6985588. This is a genuine used part from a donor vehicle. It's the right-side front release cover for the seat backrest—the small trim piece that covers the release mechanism. When this cap is missing or broken, the seat release lever can become exposed or difficult to operate.
