BMW seat backrest release handle Bowden cable clip/bracket, genuine OEM part 6982922 (also replaces 7288348). This used front-right clip secures the cable that activates the seat fold-forward mechanism. A broken or loose clip can cause the release handle to feel slack or fail to unlatch the seatback. For BMW 1, 2, 3, 4 Series and M models with 2.0L turbo, 3.0L turbo or naturally aspirated, and 4.0L V8 engines.
