Used BMW seat belt retractor, OEM part number 7488772 (also replaces 72117488772). This genuine rear right retractor was removed from a 2020s BMW with the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. A seat belt retractor keeps the belt taut in normal driving and locks during sudden stops or impacts; a failing unit may not retract fully or can lock intermittently.
