This used OEM Audi Secondary Air Pump (OEM 420906601) was removed from a donor vehicle. It sits on the left side of the engine bay. The secondary air pump forces fresh air into the exhaust during cold starts to rapidly heat the catalytic converters for lower emissions. A failing pump often triggers a check engine light and can cause rough idle or reduced performance. This one is from an Audi R8 equipped with either the 4.2L V8 or the 5.2L V10 engine.
