This is a used OEM BMW slotted firewall/cowl cover, part number 7388716, removed from a donor vehicle. It is the right-side panel that seals the area between the windshield base and the engine bay, directing airflow and blocking debris from entering the HVAC intake. Over time, these covers can crack or lose their mounting clips, allowing leaves and water to collect. This genuine BMW piece is a direct replacement for the original cover on your 5 Series or M5.
