This used OEM BMW spare tire lowering handle mechanism (part number 7030510, also replaces 3452198) is a genuine, salvaged component. The mechanism allows you to lower the spare tire from its storage position under the vehicle. If the handle is stripped or the cable is seized, the spare cannot be accessed. This part was removed from a donor BMW X3.
