Used BMW OEM left rear spindle knuckle with wheel bearing (part 6878627, also replaces 6878625) from a donor Z4. This knuckle houses the wheel bearing and links the suspension to the hub. On the 2.0L turbo I4 and 3.0L turbo I6 models, a failing bearing often produces a humming or grinding noise that changes with speed. As a non-safety, non-programmable part, it's a straightforward mechanical swap once the worn unit is removed.
