Originally fitted to BMW X3 and X4 models, it supports the wheel hub and bearing assembly for the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder (diesel or gasoline) and 3.0L six-cylinder engines. The integrated bearing allows smooth rotation; once worn, it typically causes a humming or grinding noise that rises with vehicle speed.
