This BMW genuine OEM starter/battery cable (part number 8485066) carries high current from the battery to the starter motor. Also known simply as a starter cable or battery cable, it was removed from a donor BMW X3 or X4. Over time, corrosion or internal breakage in this cable can cause intermittent no-start conditions, slow cranking, or voltage drop that prevents the starter from engaging. Fits multiple engine options including 2.0L turbo and 3.0L turbocharged six-cylinder variants, as well as mild-hybrid (MHEV) versions.
