This BMW steering column switch module, OEM 9164423, is a used genuine part removed from a donor vehicle. It also replaces numbers 9138210, 9122378, and 9196280. The module controls turn signals, wipers, headlights, and cruise control from the steering column. When the switch module fails, you may experience intermittent wiper operation, non-functional headlights, or a unresponsive cruise control stalk. Because it communicates with the vehicle’s electronic systems, programming/coding to the specific VIN by a qualified shop is required after installation.
