The OEM Steering Rack Gear Cover is a critical component for multiple BMW models, including the 650i xDrive (2012-2018) and 750i (2011-2015). This part protects the steering rack from dirt, debris, and moisture, ensuring smooth operation and longevity. Compatible with models like the 535i xDrive and 640i xDrive (2014-2018), it plays a vital role in maintaining optimal steering response. Over time, wear and tear can lead to leaks or steering performance issues. Replacing a worn or damaged gear cover with this factory-original part (OEM Part Number Bosch 7228685) restores functionality and safety. Ideal for vehicles with front left placement, it supports various engine configurations as specified.
