BMW steering tie rod boot, OEM part number 6751288, is a used genuine boot from a donor vehicle. Also known simply as a tie rod boot, it replaces superseded numbers 6751026, 0396405, and 6753546. This boot fits both left and right sides on multiple BMW models with naturally aspirated and supercharged engines. A torn boot lets dirt and moisture into the tie rod joint, causing premature wear and loose steering. Replacing a damaged boot helps maintain steering precision and extend joint life.
